In April 2005, after being in the motor coach business for 20 years and owning a successful business Jeff Polzien ventured onto the yellow bus side of the industry and created Student Transportation Specialist enlisting a few of the industries leaders to guide in venture.  Now the two operations run 320 vehicles between Red Carpet Charters and Student Transportation Specialists, LLC.  Mr. Polzien enjoys playing golf and spending time with his wife and two daughters.

                                                                                                                                                                                                    In April of 2005 Ralph Williams joined Jeff Polzien and started Student Transportation Specialist, LLC.  Mr. Williams has worked in the transportation industry for over 35 years.   Mr. Williams has experience in all areas of transportation.  Mr. Williams resides in Tom Bean, Texas with his wife and enjoys spending time with his daughter, son-in-law and three grandchildren.

Chesley Poteet
Director of Maintenance

In April of 2005, Chesley Poteet, joined Student Transportation Specialist, LLC as the Director of Maintenance.   Mr. Poteet has been in transportation industry for over 30 years.  Mr. Poteet resides in West, Texas with his wife.  He enjoys spending time with his wife, four children and six grandchildren.

Gary Chetoni
Director of Finance and Business Development

 Gary Chetoni has over 32 years of experience in the school transportation business which includes over a decade as a school district transportation director; and over two decades as a contractor regional vice president of operations and director of business development.  Gary graduated with a degree in business logistics form Penn State and immediately started his yellow bus career.  Gary, like all of our senior staff enjoyed the hard work and sense of accomplishment of operating school buses but most of all because of the respect he has for the drivers, manager, and mechanics in this industry.  “I am proud to join this group of “bus people” who love what they do; our culture and values put safety above all and insists on respect for the individual which translates to safe and reliable service, happy employees and happy customers”. 

Kiley Fleming

Kiley Fleming joined Student Transportation, LLC in August of 2007 with 13 years experience if office management.  Mrs. Fleming resides in Howe, Texas and enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.
